We offer two hour sessions up to Key Stage 2 in our interactive education room.

Hosted by a fully qualified teacher, pupils visiting our depot learn about how the kerbside recycling scheme from their homes works, what happens to the materials that are collected and the importance of dealing with waste responsibly. Session are designed to meet Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum requirements across a range of subjects.

A highlight of the visit is the viewing platform, where children can see (and smell) first hand what happens to the materials we collect from their homes.
FREE for schools in Newport. There is a small charge for schools from outside Newport.

For all bookings inquiries phone Ian Pearce on 01633 281 281 or email ianpearce@wastesavers.co.uk.
