The clutch on our flats collection truck just went.

We will be running late while repairs are undertaken.

This will affect all schools that are due for collections today.  It may also affect flats in the following areas if we haven’t already picked up:

With a bit of luck we will be able to catch up tomorrow.

A week in the life of Wastesavers (not typical)

Monday – 15 trucks trashed and off the road. (fixed)

Tuesday – Collection teams work 10 hour shifts to catch up.

Wednesday – Flames start pouring out of one fork lift truck .(fixed)

Thursday –    am: plastics baler breaks down. (fixed)

pm Clutch goes on flats collection truck. (parts ordered)

Thank goodness tomorrow isn’t the 13th of the month!
