Reuse Online Sales Assistant

Wastesavers is a third sector recycling group that offers a range of recycling, reuse, education and training services in South East Wales, based around waste management and recycling.  We are an environmental organisation whose aims are to reduce the amount of material going to landfill and to benefit the local community of Newport.  At Wastesavers, our online retail business has been expanding rapidly in recent years and it now forms a core part of the income for the Charity.

The Online Sales Assistant has the responsibility for identifying, listing and processing online orders predominantly through Ebay. Items include IT components, computers equipment, furniture and bric a brac along with more unusual items which are donated to our Reuse Centre and Tip Shops.

The role involves both the routine daily packing and dispatch of orders received, together with associated high-quality customer service, and identifying and listing online new items which have been donated.  You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be able to research items online, understand different sales platforms and be able to assess the appropriate place to sell each item in order to obtain maximum value.
