Wastesavers is a charity and a social enterprise. This means we run our operations like a normal business but our reason for existing is to help the environment and improve human well-being rather than maximizing profits.
Our charitable operations include the PEAK project and the range of activities at the Reuse Centre.
Our bottom line is environmental, social and economic sustainability.
The legal structure:
Recycling services are run by Wastesavers Recycling Ltd.(WRL), the socially owned trading subsidiary of Wastesavers Charitable Trust.
WRL has no shareholders. The charity is managed by a board of trustees. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a trustee.
