Wastesavers have an IT recycling department at our Reuse Centre.
We work with businesses in South Wales to recycling a range of IT and computer equipment to make these available for families who need them in the local area

Data security
We data wipe to infosec level 5 standards and have locked storage for all equipment awaiting data wiping. We also have a machine used for manual destruction of hard drives if there are any issues with digital destruction.
Social Value
Our IT staff work with volunteers and placements to give them skills and experience of IT repair and refurbishment. The skills gained through this work are invaluable for social inclusion, reducing isolation and for career progression.
Donation
We make the computers available to everyone in our community at a low price. For those on the lowest incomes we can provide this for free, making IT accessible to all. We donate to local charities and community groups and make sure that IT is never a barrier. If you know a person or group who need some technology support then please contact us for more information.
