Recycling Cardboard

Our trucks are designed to take normal volumes of cardboard. At Christmas, especially with so much on-line buying, we need to remind residents of our cardboard limits per household.

Christmas Wrapping Paper

Newport is one of the very few recycling services that collect Christmas wrapping paper. Most council do not.

Please only put paper wrapping out for collection.

Do not put out the shinny foil style wrapping. This type of wrapping cannot be recycled.

If we get too much of it we may have to follow other local authorities and not collect any wrapping paper at Christmas.

The council will be able to collect these when garden waste collections resume at the end of February.

You can also drop them off at the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Docks way (you will need to book a slot)
